I believe that religious music is a great demonstration of revealing beauty through art. It has a way of revealing a sacredness through its lyrical and instrumental parts. It reveals a sense of longing that is often times most noticeable through its lyrics and harmonies in the singers voices. For instance in Christian music exemplifies this well. Often times Christian music sounds very overjoyed and filled with faith and happiness. It reflects the rejoicing of the Lord. It really expressing this desire and love for a higher being. It's a great abstract form of conveying religion through art. I feel as though it is a way in which religion is going to be passed down throughout the centuries, and has been that way since the beginning of time.
