Yosemite Experience -- Personal choice
Last summer I hiked and camped in Yosemite for a few days. As I explored the trails and absorbed the beauty of every mountain peak, I found myself enthralled by it all. What I realized is that I was made not only to see beauty but also to deeply appreciate it. Everything around me, almost entirely raw nature absent from technology, was pointing me to the Source, the Creator. The mountains I climbed were ancient, created by God for my pleasure and His purposes. They were leading me back to Him. All of these thoughts stirred in my mind as I hiked further and climbed higher. By the end of my time in Yosemite questions were indeed answered and the beauty of God had expanded my awareness of the world as well as myself.
