Mary Smith - Poetry (Outside Reading #3)
One of my favorite and most famous known poets is Edgar Allen Poe. All his poems tell story about his long gone wife and his long and emotional life, must mostly about love and fear. One of his most famous poems that I first learned about is called "Annabel Lee" which talks about how a man's love was killed by a cold gust of wind because the angels above were jealous of their undeniable love. He says how even death won't rid of their love for one another and he laid by her tomb every night. This chilling poem symbolizes his love for his wife and shows the depths he will go through for her, which in itself is a symbol of beauty.
