Fisher writes about the narrative paradigm. We discussed this idea in another class of mine after reading some of his work. He believes that many people see the world through rational eyes. This can be issue though, he thinks that we as humans are capable of framing our world through narrative. I believe that art can be a form of narrative or storytelling. In many cases it does tell a story. Naturally we as humans are storytellers, and creating art is just one way in which we spread our stories. Many people may not look to art as a form of narrative but I certainly believe it to be. We use paradigms in order to make sense of things, well the same idea parallels with art. We use art as an expression in order to make sense of something going on within. It is an outward expression of that which lies within. It brings to life something just a story does. Narrative is a creative form that brings a story to life. They are very similar.
