Is
beauty intrinsic or extrinsic?
As
we discussed in class, intrinsic is the value of beauty itself, and extrinsic
is valued only because we attach ourselves to it. I personally think beauty
should is intrinsic. If I see beauty in something, it is going to come
naturally. Therefore, I agree that if we wonder what is beautiful, we also
should wonder what is human. I believe when a person has a feeling, it comes
right away, it can’t grow over time. It’s not something that can be searched
for because I believe if you search for it, than it is most likely not real
genuine beauty. To me, that’s like saying you don’t think a person is
beautiful, but you want to believe they are, so you say they are, but saying
someone is beautiful, doesn’t mean they actually are beautiful.
