Yellow

It was Vincent Van Gogh who say that yellow stands for the sun. I think this is a great example of interpretation and meaning of art. It would be interesting to have a group of people say what yellow stands for to them. In most cases I am sure many people would relate it to the sun. But also, it could stand for many other things to many other people. Here lies the beauty in interpretation and applied meaning to art. We as individuals apply different meanings to art. This is where the search exists. We search for meaning in different ways and find it in different ways. This is the beauty of it all. Everyone's own individual applied meaning is what creates the wonderful world of creative expression.
